A love for struggling learners motivated Jean to undergo the three-year
training to become an NILD Professionally Certified Educational
Therapist. The years she spent teaching her children prepared her to
support and love students with learning differences. Like Alice, Jean
obtained a Masters of Education degree and became certified in the
Search & Teach program. After gaining experience in a school setting,
Jean is eager to offer services to the broader community.
After completing an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and teaching at a small school in Alaska for two years, Alice homeschooled her own son, who struggled with ADHD. This led her on a quest to discover the most effective, research-based program to help students overcome their learning challenges. Alice is professionally certified as an NILD Educational Therapist, and holds a Masters degree in Education. She earned her certificate for the Search & Teach program, and is passionate about helping young learners succeed in the classroom. Alice adores her dogs and enjoys outdoor activities.
